which has a list of words the author thinks should be banished from our lexicon, the various congegations of the word "blog" being featured prominently. here is an excerpt:

thats pretty funny. i don't wholeheartedly embrace his opinion, but i can see that he has a point. it isnt that i am all down on blogging, but i dont have the time i used to to sit around and find things to write about, all of my navel gazing now happens in perpetual motion. as a result the fate of this blog hangs in limbo.

i dont want to abandon it entirely, but i have yet to figure out how to make it work in my new life where time to do even the most basic things runs short. i know there are other people out there who juggle far more than i do and still manage, but so far i havent figured out their tricks.

on the other hand, i miss writing but it's nice to have a break and work on other things. i took a photo for the first time in months and as a result have the camera bug again. Mister's brother is staying with us for the month and is a photographer as well so we have gotten into the habit of carrying them around with us. its fun, we have similar styles so i notice we are always jumping to shoot the same stuff. i have been having some good luck with the camera at work too, yesterday i documented procedure done on a turtle.

i am also beginning oil painting lessons today, with a man whose cat i give fluids to at their home. i have had sucess with watercolors and guace before but oil takes so much more skill and gives a much nicer finish so this is just another direction to explore.

so anyway, thats the latest in my world for anyone out there who might still be visiting. i dont blame the readers who leave, if i cant bother to keep up why should anyone else? i'll be back sooner or later...
