sorry everyone, i know i have been lagging again. what can i say? we are stuck in a snowstorm and have had no heat for days...have you ever tried typing in below freezing weather? it is like using little icicles. plus, i don't know about anyone else but this is always the least fun time of year...so depressing.

they days are short and cold, there is a ton of work to do on the house, and just keeping our bodies from freezing takes a whole lot of thought and energy. Mister found an article in the Guardian about how january 24th is scientifically the most depressing day of the year:

did i ever mention it also happens to be our wedding anniversary? we were both so cold we almost forgot, but we are going to try and do something nice this weekend provided there isn't any more snow...oh wait it is snowing again already. shit.

so much for romance.
