i have become completely addicted to friendster. i realize i am a little late in catching on to this trend but i am hooked all the same. i only have a few friends but through them i have managed to locate just about everyone i used to go clubbing with and ton of boys i used to make out with but had completely forgotten about. i also found a bunch of indie celebrities (hey miss kier! remember that time you puked on my friend sid? good times...) and a ton of dead people (hey what's shakin' anton lavey!?). amazing, you can be dead and still have 187 friends on friendster, i am alive and i have six.
i havent actually written to any of these people, most of the time i just wouldnt know what to say "hey *blank*, how are you? remember me? we used to blah blah blah together at the watsaplace"...but i like the idea of having the option close at hand, it is comforting just knowing they are still out there and in reach.

i found paris hiltons phone number on craigslist and decided to give her a call. not surprisingly she did not answer and the voice mail was full. rats. i really wanted to tell her how much i liked her tape...
we went to a party in nyc this wednesday. it was in a little club disguised as a meat packing plant. the inside was really cool, it was small, modern and had the most amazing acoustics. mister L was thrilled about the smoking garden. there were 2 live performers, one of which treated us to a song called "face down ass up". they style it was performed was such that if i closed my eyes i could easily picture chef from south park singing it. needless to say it was an outstanding evening.
