i have decided that blackouts are fun. we got to cook hotdogs and corn on the grill and listen to the portable radio out under the stars without a light in sight for miles. it was all very relaxing until about 5 am when all the power came on and scared the living crap out of me. i had been in full dream state when all of a sudden the lights are on and the tv is blaring and i have no idea whats happening, i was still dreaming...mister L sleeps like the dead and missed all the excitement. kinda makes you just want to reach over and poke them for no good reason other than to wake them up because you are up. i resisted temptation.

for those of you who are interested, i did not win my fini on ebay. i was dissapointed, but i am a patient person and will get one eventually.

oh and just so everyone knows, you can all expect this site to be getting a facelift in the coming weeks. Super Chief Webguy and myself were just going over the details today. the site should be easier to navigate and new work will be posted. he says there is also a possibility that i could include non gallery worthy snapshots right here in the journal, how cool would that be? i will also be getting around to finsihing part 2 of about me, i know i said that a long time ago but i mean it this time. no, really i do. partly i have been lazy about it and the ther part is that life in part 2 takes a really dark turn and i am not always sure how to write about it.

i saw the colest thing on tv today, apparently they make flushing toilets for cats, so you never have to change litter again. i must have one. naturally mister L thinks i have gone mad. i am sure he is correct but if it mean i dont have to touch a litter pan again i could care less.

ahh another entertaining weekend in albany. we only stayed for one night this time, because neither myself nor mister L were feeling well on friday. i am still being crippled by terrible headaches and have a dr.s appointment tomorrow to get it checked out again.
mostly it was the usual routine of drinking, laughing, and bockering up at bryans. sacred and i tried to do a photoshoot so he could have ahead shot to apply for jobs with, but like a moron i forgot my tripod. my second mistake was shotting it in the living room with everyone else in there....too many cooks. the only really good shot i got was of him dressed up as an old chinese lady, not exactly useful for applying for jobs, but definately amusing.
later that might bryans cute little irish girl friend megan came over and we all went out for drinks, it was a fairly subdued evening by our standards and ended without any major mishaps. there was a sticky floor in the morning but that seemed to be the worst of it.
i went home realativly hangover free (can't say the same for mister L though) and we left earlyish to go look for bird watching spots. mister L made me traipse all over albany county and by the time we made it home i had been riving for well over 8 hours and i couldnt feel my butt anymore. it was a very scenic drive though so i mostly didn't mind. albany county is gorgeous and the houses there are pretty cheap, but it is literaly the middle of nowhere, you have to drive miles just to find a grocery store.
