Instead of a summer of love, i am having a summer of loss, and it isnt always such a bad thing.
things i have dropped:
a couple of pounds (not as many as i would have liked, but a start all the same)
my favorite sunglasses (fuck)
my ipod (double fuck)
a few friends (peace at any price is the motto of the day)
my addiction to television (now that six feet under is over whats the point?)
most of the food pyramyd (no meat, wheat, dairy, soy, or corn)
a few (but unfortunately not all) pretensions
this blog (sometimes i miss it, mostly i dont)
the need for attention and anonymous approval gained via this site
my ambitions to be a part of the world
most people go through life always wanting more, and it has slowly dawned on me that what i want is a whole lot less.
